The Mitchell County Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension gives county residents easy access to the resources and expertise of North Carolina State University and North Carolina A & T State University. Through educational programs, publications, and events, Cooperative Extension agents deliver unbiased, research-based information to county citizens. Answers are available on a wide variety of topics. Contact the department by e-mail or telephone for help.
